These pictures are from our vacation on Kauai in July 2003. Ha'ena State Park & Ha'ena Beach Park are located at the end of the Kuhio highway on Kauai's north shore. It is also the location of Ke'e Beach which I have on another webpage.

The entrance sign to the state park is very low key, a simple brown sign on the side of the road.

At the entrance is this small pool where the local kids like to swim to avoid the crowds and surf on the beach.

Just outside the entrance to the Ha'ena State Park is the Limahuli Garden Botanical Gardens. Unfortunately, it was closed at the time so we could not check it out.
